C A PA B I L I T I E S The RADAR-100S6 is differentiated from more conventional radars by its unique mix of processing capabilities layered together to provide superior radar imagery, noise and clutter reduction and target tracking. Flexibility for Optimal Performance The RADAR-100S6 can use a wired or wireless link to provide remote access and enable radar images to be viewed and manipulated by operators and technicians at different locations. Through its flexible design, multiple RADAR-100S6 radars and multiple radar displays can be connected via Ethernet to allow any display to view any radar on the network. This provides a truly flexible approach to radar configuration. Multiple Target Tracking With a tracking capability of up to 1000 targets, the Sigma S6 Dual-Mode Tracker can simultaneously detect and track very small slow-speed targets and high-speed targets by optimizing plot extraction signal processing on separate channels, thereby providing uncompromised target detection and tracking. AIS Overlay The optional AIS Overlay module provides AIS targets overlayed on the radar image and provides a full AIS informational display. The AIS Overlay module provides radar track and AIS target association for a clearer operational picture. Advanced Radar Recording The optional Sigma S6 radar recording provides for full dynamic range and full-resolution recording capability. The Sigma S6 digital recorder may be used to capture real incidents and isolate best practices for training and simulation exercises or post incident investigation analysis. Radar Fusion The optional SeaBridge software module allows the fusion of radar data from multiple radars to be displayed in a single radar image. This allows the use of multiple radars to fill the 360 coverage area that may otherwise be blocked by ship's or platform's superstructure. Target tracking is also calculated from this fused radar image and is also available on the radar network and viewable at any RADAR-100S6 radar display station. The Sigma S6 provides superior technology and flexibility and meets customer needs in the most challenging situations. The Sigma S6 is increasingly the choice for marine monitoring needs.
