WRITING

Assessment criteria for writing: 1. 2. Task fulfillment Does the essay display feature of academic test? (Paragraph - > 1 line between two paragraphs) Does the essay address the question? Is the essay long enough? Coherence (Logical) and Cohesion (link between ideas) Are the ideas clear, fully developed and understandable? Is there logical grouping of ideas? Has connecting language been used appropriately?

3. Grammar - Does the essay exhibit a range of different sentence structure? - Are there any mistakes? 4. Vocabulary-lexical resource Does the essay display vocabulary related to the topic? Is the language formal -> Impersonal voice Is the vocabulary used accurately?

INTRODUCTION: A. General statement about the topic - Identifies the relevance/importance of the issue B. Paraphrase a part or the entire question (issue) - Usually identifies someones opinion (philologers, researchers, scientist, politicians, policy makers- Group of people who care about this issue) C.
