PROJECT ASSOCIATE

ABSTRACT

This project LIVE DETECTION AND TRACKING USING GSM AND GPS deals with giving intelligence to technology. This was kept to the object we can track and find the location of the that, with the help of GPS module and GSM Module, and it send an acknowledgement which contains information through GSM module using microcontroller to the appropriate person. The GPS module is interfaced to the micro controller its continuously tracks satellites and it gives the various parameters like position, speed. Global Positioning System is an earth-orbiting-satellite based system that provides signals available anywhere on or above the earth, twenty-four hours a day, which can be used to determine precise time and the position of a GPS receiver in three dimensions. Precise positioning is possible using GPS receivers at reference locations providing corrections and relative positioning data for remote receivers. GSM (Global System for Mobile communications) is an open, digital cellular technology used for transmitting mobile voice and data services. Here we are using it only for transmitting and receiving the messages. GSM wireless data module is used for remote wireless applications, machine to machine or user to machine and remote data communications in many applications.
