People: We have come from east and west, north and south to see again the Christ who has been born. Leader: They brought him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. People: We bring the gift of our very selves, offering our lives to the one whose light shines in the darkness. Leader: They bowed down and worshiped him, recognizing God in human flesh. We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the virgin, Mary, and was made human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. he has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

We come from different places in life, literally and figuratively, following the star to meet before the manger. Together, let us worship the newborn King. The The The The The elder for the month is Ed Forsman. deacon for the month is Katharine Lamb. trustee for the month is Bill Mueller. greeters are Oak and Jane Gandy. lay leader is Dave Ewart.

Ken Stroud is scheduled to preach on January 15th and Rev. Richard Merritt is scheduled to preach on January 22nd. The Missions of the Month for January are Disciples Pantry (Woodstown)/Peters Pantry (Elmer). Disciples Pantry is located at Asbury United Methodist Church in Woodstown and exists in our community to help feed the hungry. People are able to come and pick up food for themselves and their families. It is given freely and with Christs love. We support them through canned good drives, Crop Walk and Garden for God. Peters Pantry is located at Elmer United Methodist Church and also exists in our community to help feed the hungry. The Pantry is a food bank serving emergency needs, serving as a stopgap measure for someone awaiting public assistance and serving families that can not make it to the end of the month. Every client receives a standard order of food and a voucher for specific food items at the local grocery store. Please keep these ministries in your prayers. Our Facebook page can now be found at: Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church. Join our group page today! Join us for a prayer time every Sunday morning in the youth lounge before church at 9:20am. A lot of people do things for the church anonymously or that some of us just may not know about. For example, opening and closing the church on special events, decorating the sanctuary window sills, etc., etc. We would like to start compiling a list of these types of things. If you take part in events such as these please let Jill know.

We received a nice thank you note and picture from the Chapman family. If you would like to see it, it is on the bulletin board outside of the nursery.
