Write essays on TWO of the following subjects

Discuss the role of the pathologist in the investigation of a death in police custody. A young man is found dead, with obvious injuries to his face and trunk, in a pub car park. It is alleged that he may have been kicked or stamped. Discuss the findings at post-mortem examination which may be of value in the investigation of the death. Discuss the role of the pathologist in the planning and conduct of an exhumation.

3. How would you differentiate between suicidal and homicidal cut throat wounds? 4. Describe the techniques which should be employed in a case of suspected fatal compression of the neck. 5. Discuss the pathological findings which may be associated with asbestos exposure. 6. Discuss the pathologist's role following a major transportation incident with multiple fatalities.
