*THE INVOCATION AND LORDS PRAYER (In Unison)

Creator, Like the wise men we have followed the light seeking your presence. The journey has led us to this place. We stand on the banks of the Jordan ready to receive the Holy Spirit. Open our eyes to your presence as we worship and bathe us in your light so that we may also be transformed for your work in the world. We pray as Jesus taught us to pray for your kingdom saying, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: for thine is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
