OBJECTIVE: The emergence of Wireless Networks brought many open issues to network designers. It appears that simulation is the only feasible approach to the quantitative analysis of networks. The objective of this workshop is to give hands on training to the academicians and researchers in the simulation of wireless Networks using Network Simulators and introduce them to various methods to study the performance characteristics in terms of capacity, delay and reliability. The research work on networks includes not only the study of networking concepts but also study about the tools which are used to simulate the networks. COURSE CONTENT:
