User Profiles In this section of the report, analysis of different users is done depending on a number of parameters which can

be classified as age, earnings, family size etc or the services needed the most. These parameters are then used to derive the User Profiles. The parameters for the Biometric Automobile Security System are listed below: Vehicle Usage by how many people Profession/Occupation Earnings Educational Qualifications Technological Awareness Readiness to buy the product

A questionnaire was developed depending upon the parameters listed above which will demonstrate the user need patterns and their wants. Questionnaire 1) What feature do you look for while buying a car? Quality Safety and Security Servicing and Maintenance cost Guarantee

10) Do you think that Factory Installed Security System in major car brands is enough for the car security? Yes, they are more than what I want. No, I need upgrade the system to ensure total security coverage.

A research was held at the University of Bolton, Ras Al Khaimah campus where 50 students were given the questionnaire asked to give the feedback. Depending on their evaluation, the user profiles were created with scores allotted to each profile depending on the relative importance they gave to a certain option in the questionnaire. In the extended version of the User Profile table, first column enlists the parameters, second column is for the relative importance with a score of 1 to 5, third column is for the specific characteristic in that user profile, fourth column is for the qualitative value of the characteristic in that user profile and the fifth column shows the overall score of importance by multiplying the second column by the fourth column. User Profile 1 (Car Rental Companies) Car Rental companies can be the biggest buyer for the security system, because they have to lend the cars to strangers and want the car to safe and sound, while they are not around for the keeping an eye on their valuable belongings. Diplomats can be other most potential buyers of the security system because of their need of keeping them and their automobile safe. As they do work mobile and have their automobiles as their mobile offices, Biometric Fingerprint Security System can give them a good hold on their offices security.
