ABSTRACT

This project is chosen by me so that I can explain that how much important is it in our daily life. Rain detector is most important sensor device to sense the presence of rain. Rain and snow are quickly and accurately detected by this device. It is widely used in cars, buildings & irrigation system etc, to protect the devices from rain. The rain detector senses water (rain) & activates alarm system.

In this project we will recognize the role of rain detector in buildings, cars & irrigation system etc. In buildings, a rain detector senses rain and activates the alarm system. In irrigation system, the rain detector automatically shut down irrigation system when it detect rainfall, which prevents overwatering too much water can promote disease and damage your grass. Rainfall shutoff devices should be installed in a location that will be exposed to unobstructed rainfall, away from potential spray from the irrigation system.

In this project we also discuss the designing, installation & maintenance of rain detector.
