Mr. Smith has 8 years experience with design supervision for phases of civil and
environmental work including stormwater systems, water and sewer systems, road
construction, and permitting. He is a certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment
Control Inspector. His time in the construction industry prior to becoming an engineer
gives him a significant advantage by allowing him to incorporate constructability with
design.
His previous employer was Precon Corporation, where he was a field engineer and
project manager for water system improvements for numerous municipalities. As a
field engineer he traveled throughout the southeast working on high profile water and
waste water treatment plant projects that required an engineer on site to make rapid
decisions for field changes do to being under extreme deadlines. As a project
manager he was responsible for the bidding and design of prestressed concrete tanks
used for the storage and treatment of water and waste water.
