Project Goals
Provide an environment perfectly matched with the VOIIT system, which will become the primary system or th life system. the lif t Allow the quality assurance team to apply the test plan on the Test system. Allow the developers to implement and test their new features and programs.

Tasks and Milestones


Build a Test Bed system for the VOIIT primary system. Create a test plan which contains a detail of how the test will proceed, who will do the testing, what will be the tested. Create backup and recovery plan for the primary and the test bed systems.

The VoIIT Features


Voice mail:

Centralized system of managing telephone messages for a large group of p p people that records, stores and retrieves voice messages. g
Voice mail to e-mail:

Centralized system that provide s a service that allows you to hear voice mail messages via email. Voice mails are sent as digital audio files in WAVE format. f
Audio conference: Telephone service that allows to have more than one called party listen

in to the audio portion of the call call.


Presence:

network service which accepts, stores and distributes presence information.

On campus-to-on campus Call: Call that performed between two on campus devices. On campus-to-off campus Call: Call that performed between an on campus device to an off campus device. The Test Plan


The Test plan contains :
System Integration Testing:

Testing process that exercises the system coexistence with others, after others implementing new feature or modifications.
Performance and Stress Testing:

Testing process that determine the system robustness in terms of extreme load and helps application administrators to determine if the application will perform sufficiently if the current load goes well above the expected maximum.

Automated Regression Testing:

Selective retesting of a system or component to verify that modifications have not caused unintended effects and that the system or component still works as specified in the requirements.

The Back-up and Recovery Plan


It is the process that tells the user how to create, save, and restore the back-up. This process contains the following steps:
How to select the back-up files which is in VOIIT system will be a full back-up includes the operating system and the VOIIT applications. How to take and save the back-up, the back-up can be taken locally from the system itself or remotely and could be saved in an external disk, DVD, or at another machine.
