An article review of Cecilia L. 2005, Learning about environmental issues : postgraduate and undergraduate students interpretations of environmental contents in education, International Journal of Sustainability in Higher Education, Vol. 6. No. 3, pp.242-253.

Researcher (Gomez-Granell and Cervera-March, 1993; Gambro and Switzky, 1996; Ivy et al., 1998; Boyes and Stanisstreet 1993, 1994, 1998; Lai, 1999; Rickinson, 1999) show in their studies of attitude, knowledge, and behavior related to environmental phenomena and problems or with the learning process (Emmons, 1997; Mason and Santi, 1998; Grace and Ratcliffe, 2002) gives more implication on science teaching group. Thus, Cecilia L. (2005) conducted a study on postgraduate and undergraduate students learning about environmental issues in education. This research was aimed to explore the students environmental issues and ecology concept and learning process based on three case studies. The study was exploratory the student aims either in action and utterances of interview or educational setting through their project. The study reveal some of theories related to environmental issues and course content in ecology subject on student in various task. Thus, the theory were learning as a process of differentiation and discussed (Caravita and Hallden, 1994, 1999; Hallden et al., 2002; Petersson, 2002). Because this study based on student projects, the finding analyzed on three case studies by collecting case studies. Because this studies refer on case studies, it provide three level different acknowledge and understanding about environmental and learning, to interpreting the finding several limitation must consider. The researcher Cicilia L, (2005) interpreted the data to overview the relationship between the students learning process and experiences. Furthermore, reveal student differentiate between values and description of phenomenon on engagement of environmental study. The study shows relationship by student conflict in environment

education setting and raises questions regarding issues today. This study was clear. Through quantitative and review of the theory on the case study were conducted. First case study was on first-year civil engineering in Royal Institute of Technology, StockHolm, interviewed and tape-recorded show the compulsory to taken ecology subject. This focused on successful of delivery course content in future profession. Second case study on four group biological student to report on environmental task, all their activities and discussion were tape-recorded. By setting 15 criteria on companies environmental look this student solving their argument in environmental education concerning. Third case study on postgraduate in 1999 interviewed in their environment concerning by joining the project with outside community always improve and contribute in environment concern. Moreover, the student in three case studies affordable to overcome the obstacles to conduct a qualitative research in clear concept of environmental. This research setting a clear problem, statement and hypothesis. The studies rely on the interview related to the topic. In summary, the results on this study are far from being conclusive as was acknowledge by Cicilia L. itself. The finding raise the questions how question of how affects can influence the learning process, and the students possibilities of differentiating between various conceptual frameworks. The results can be declare as the content and educational practices as a well purpose of environmental education. The course curriculums suppose including the environmental education despite of raises the moral and ethics conception concerning ethical conceptions concerning nature and mans behavior in judgment of the company. Perhaps raised the benefit different on nature as well as the ethics of professional engineers and solve future profession dilemmas. Furthermore, the environmental problems and issues in education can be solving students focus on solving and finding solutions. The focus of interest actually will affect the learning process whether the content includes aspects of the ways in environmental.
