A PASSION FOR

STUDENT TRANSFORMATION
I am very excited to be working with InterVarsity. I am committed to their mission to establish witnessing communities of students and faculties on campuses across the nation. Since I came to be a Christ follower when I was 17 years old, my college years were very important to my faith transformation. I would like to see more resources and opportunities for college students wanting to know Christ and grow in their faith. I am looking forward to learning more about InterVarsity and becoming a part of the team. Over the next year I will be working to support our team in any way that I can. I pray that God would use me to aid them in their endeavors. I think that InterVarsity is an organization where I will be able to use my strengths and where I will be able to continue to grow in my work skills and my faith. The Urbana conference is held once every three years and will be happening at the end of 2012. I am very excited to be a part of and hopefully attend that as well.

Your support has made it possible for me to join the InterVarsity National Service Center staff full-time at the end of December. I am working as the Development Administrator for the Advancement department. My job is to provide administrative support for the Director of Development (Josh Hall) and the rest of the Development team. The Development team works with major donors to raise money for InterVarsity staff and projects across the country and also plans and budgets for the Fellowship so that we use our resources wisely. In 2010 we wrapped up a fund-raising campaign that raised over 25 million dollars. That money has made it possible for us to cultivate new evangelistic and training strategies for our campus staff, invest in current and develop new leaders, plant new student and faculty chapters, provide more opportunities for global student missions, and invest in new technology systems.
