Victor Frankenstein tries to act like a hero but really ends up just looking like a villain. He does many actions to help him achieve his goals but just ends up doing more bad than good, causes 4 of his family/friends to die from the creature he created and isolates himself from his family/friends as he is working on his project.

In order to achieve his goals victor goes through to much sacrifice that it really starts damaging his life. He is willing to do anything in order to create the creature that he even uses old human parts. Quote victor i will pioneer a new way,explore unknown powers, and unfold to the world the deepest secrets chapter 3 page 33. He is very motivated and confident about his work but when he finally creates the monster he is horrified from the looks of him and ends up running away. I quote victor for this i deprived my self of rest and healthy i had desired it with an ardour that far exceeded moderation; but now that i had finished, the beauty of the dream vanished, and breathless horror and disgust filled my heart chapter 5 page 43. He wanted it so bad that he didnt give it to much thought on what he would do after he was complete. Victor then falls into an illness after creating the monster and this starts a journey of bad events. Victor tries to help the world with his event ion but ignores his own life and now he must suffer the consequences.

Victor's goal was to create life to a creature but then that one life he created also caused the death of 4

of his family/friends. As the monster approaches William who is Frankenstein brother, William mentions that his father is M. Frankenstein. The monster rages and kills William. Quote the monster Frankenstein! You belong to my enemy- to him towards who, i have sworn eternal revenge; you shall be my first victim chapter 16 page 131. that is the first death that is caused from victor creating the monster. Followed by an innocent girl Justine Mortiz who is blamed for Williams murder and is executed. Victor feels guilty and tried convincing every one she wasn't the killer. Quote victor your all mistaken i know the murderer, Justine, poor, good Justine, is innocent page 66. when victor refuses to create the female creation. The monster swears he will be there on victors wedding night. Elizabeth gets murdered by the monster when victor is away from the room. Quote victor everywhere i turn i see the same figure, her bloodless arms and relaxed form flung by the murderer on its bridal bier page 186.victor cannot stop seeing the image of Elizabeth dead and knows he is the cause of it. His hard worked goal of creating life came back at him and took the life of people he loved.

In order to achieve his goals victor lies to his family/friends. He totally isolated himself from all his social life and is totally obsessed with his work on the creature. I quote victor from this day natural philosophy , and particularly chemistry, in the most comprehensive sense of the term, became my sole occupation chapter 4 page 76. He first lies to Elizabeth and doesnt tell her about his work in the apartment. He also lies to Henry and doesnt talk to him but Henry still helps him when victor becomes ill. Quote victor I felt my flesh tingle with excess of sensitiveness and my pulse beat rapidly chapter 5 page 47. Before he fell into a bad fever victor ignored and lied to Henry who is supposed to be his best friend but Henry still doctors him after all of that. That really shows the type of character Henry is. After lying and ignoring important people in your life and they still are good to you after you know they are good people.

Victor wanted to be a hero to the world but just ended up getting 4 of his family/friends killed and did

crazy things in order to make the creature such as using old human parts. Every one must go through sacrifices and pain in order to achieve there goals or happiness in life but being excessive about work isnt good. Victor tried to play with rules of life/nature witch should never be done, that by itself made him a villain. You should never have to do bad actions in order to have a better life later on because it may seem like your life will get better but most likely it wont. Would you do bad things in order to make your self live a better life in the end?
