Gap Bridged by the Study This study aimed to determine the compliance of breastfeeding to the lactating mothers and

the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs). All studies have been made for the researchers to have an idea regarding breastfeeding from the contents of related literature and related studies. There were no general studies conducted on the compliance of lactating mothers to breastfeeding but many studies have been done in relation of compliance of breastfeeding to the lactating mother and infant .Most lactating mother were not able to identify the importance of breastfeeding for them to comply it properly with the best nutrition for their infants. This study is conducted to identify the level of knowledge and performance of lactating mothers on how they perform breastfeeding compliance for them to understand the importance, purpose and meaning of breastfeeding the infants. Previous researched topics state the benefits and outcome of breastfeeding to the lactating mothers than identification of the level of compliance.
