Chintan N. Patel Nirmal Ghorawat

Brief Profile of the Faculties:

(1) Chintan Patel He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in November 2001. He is also qualified Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA) and passed Certified Information System Audit and Certified Public Accountant of USA. He secured all India 1st rank in Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management (DIRM). He has also participated in Management Development Training at IIM, Indore. He has extensive exposure to International GAAP including IFRS and US GAAP. He has delivered lectures on IFRS at all over India basis. He has worked with Deloitte (C. C. Chokshi & Co.), VSNL and Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance at Mumbai. He is a partner of Naresh J. Patel & Co. specialising in IFRS and Risk based auditing. (2) Nirmal Ghorawat He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in August 2009 and is practising at Surat since then. He has also successfully completed B. Com (Hons) from Guwahati University and the Certificate Course in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) of ICAI. He did his articleship training at Kamal Chand Jain & Co. (CA), a renowned firm of Chartered Accountants in Guwahati (Assam) where he had a very challenging exposure in Direct Taxes covering, inter alia, Case preparation for Appeals to CIT(A) and ITAT, and Tax Planning, Legal Opinion and Consultation on Income Tax / Wealth Tax / Accounting Standards etc. He has previously prepared a Return Preparation Utility for e-filing of Income Tax Returns in erstwhile Form 1 for Companies for AY 2006-07 when mandatory efiling of ITR for companies was first introduced. He has developed Excel based AIISAA XBRL Conversion Tool.
