Shift Information
The staff at Our Daily Bread Employment Center wants your experience here to be rewarding. We believe you will find it an encouraging opportunity to help our fellow sisters and brother in need. The minimum age is 14 years old. 14 year olds must have provided adult supervision. Age 15 and up may come alone. The lunch shift is 9am to 1pm. Please arrive by 9am. The breakfast shift is 7-8:30am. Please arrive by 7am. Parking is available on-site behind the building at the new location. Press the button on the intercom and identify yourself as a volunteer at the entry gate. The lot can accommodate large vans but not fullsize buses. If you have a full sized bus, please park on the street.

Parking is very limited If you do not car-pool, you may not find a spot to park. Please car-pool!

There is no need for you to bring lunch. The volunteer lunch we provide is an important part of your volunteer experience. If you find that the commitment to serve on the day you are scheduled is a problem or the time too long, phone us or your group leader as soon as possible. We rely completely on a volunteer staff to serve. If you are attending with a group leader, we expect the group leader to phone a confirmation number seven days in advance. For women and girls---Please NO SHORTS, NO TANK TOPS. Shirts should be loose fitting, and modest, no midriff exposed

Everyone-ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN TOED SHOES!

If you do not want to wear a hairnet you must bring a hat to wear.

Please do not bring in a pocket book, book bag or any type of carried gear. We cannot store your things.
