    Elementary School Guiding Principles


    1. 2. Boundaries will be based on projected 2012-2013 enrollment capacities for grades K 5 provided by the Districts demographic data consultant and District staff. Boundaries will attempt to keep neighborhoods intact. Some neighborhoods may have to attend schools other than the current school of attendance. The District will make every effort to avoid sending portions of the same neighborhood to different schools. Safety and security for pupils and staff are some of the highest priorities of the District. It is important during the boundary process to consider safety implications of walking to and from school. Long term operational costs should be kept to a minimum, including transportation.

    Open House Dates


    Open Houses regarding proposed attendance boundaries have been scheduled at each of the affected elementary school sites from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on the following dates:
    Ridgemoor Elementary January 31, 2012 Morrison Elementary February 2, 2012 Evans Ranch Elementary February 7, 2012
