What does faster 4G LTE service mean for Yukon?

AT&T has unveiled its faster, more efficient 4G LTE network in areas of Oklahoma. Below is a Q&A with AT&T Vice President and General Manager Steve Gray. We currently offer LTE in 26 markets, and we aren't stopping there. The great thing about our network is that before we deployed LTE, we made several upgrades to our mobile broadband network to deliver faster mobile data and 4G speeds. What that means for AT&T customers is that when you leave a 4G LTE area, you still have access to consistently fast speeds from your compatible device. You shouldn't experience a jarring drop in speed when you're outside of an LTE area, as you might on another provider's network where that important step has been skipped. That's a real difference between our network and the networks of our competitors. Where can I obtain more information? deployment. From 2008 through 2010, AT&T invested more than $62.5 million in its Oklahoma wireless and wireline networks. That investment has helped us get here today. Our plan is to continue that investment in Oklahoma and across the country, so that AT&T customers can stay on technology's cutting edge. What if I go into an area that doesn't have LTE? Are there plans to expand?

Adult dodgeball league starts Feb. 7

Games will be played on
Tuesday nights as JC Gym
Yukon Parks & Recreation is looking for participants who can throw, dodge, duck, dip, and dive for an adult dodgeball league. The league will be played Tuesday nights from Feb. 7 through April 3 at the Jackie Cooper Gym, 1024 E. Main. The league is open to men and women 18 years of age or older. Teams will play one or two fivegame matches each league night. They will also have to court monitor one match each night. The team registration fee of $40 is due by the Jan. 28 deadline.
