STRAIN TALK
For medical marijuana patients in Northern California, the outdoor harvest has just begun, and it promises to be a bountiful one! The air is lled with the aroma of sweet, sour and skunky owers of all varieties. Sonoma County has an unusually large community of growers, who are able to communicate and learn from each other. Therefore, the outdoor product that originates in this and surrounding areas is of superior quality. Each year, more and more patients and caregivers cultivate their own medicine, and OrganiCann is in the heart of cannabis country. Ingredients: 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup white sugar 1 1/2 cups our 1 3/4 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1/3 cup cold OrganiCann CannaButter, cut into pieces 1 egg 1/4 cup milk 1 1/2 cups bite sized pieces of apple, peeled and cored Coating: 1/4 cup OrganiCann CannaButter, melted 1/3 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together sugars, our, baking powder, and nutmeg. Using a fork or pasty blender, cut in to the cold OrganiCann CannaButter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. In a separate bowl, beat together the egg and milk. Fold in the chopped apples. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients. Stir until mixture is well combined. Place a spoonful of batter into each mold of a buttered mini mu n pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the doughnuts are golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for ve minutes. Gently remove doughnuts from the molds and lightly brush each doughnut with melted OrganiCann CannaButter. Coat with cinnamon and sugar. potato masher until smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.
