Plaintiffs David Farrar, Leah Lax, Cody Judy, Thomas Malaren, and Laurie Roth move for default judgment against the Secretary of State and the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party. The Secretary of State and the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party are not parties to the case before this Court. The matter was referred to this Court by the Secretary of State with Barack Obama as the only Defendant. See Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. r. 616-1-2-.03. Neither the Secretary of State nor the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party has moved to join this action as a Defendant. Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. r. 616-1-2-.13. This Court lacks the authority to join a party. Id. Plaintiffs' motion for default judgment against the Secretary of State and the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party is DENIED. SO ORDERED, this the 4th day of January, 2012.
