Method 3.1 Research Design Descriptive research technique will be used for this research.

The researcher will visit all major exclusive Car showrooms in Delhi/NCR and will gather data from the visiting customers by taking their Interview. The researcher will use that data to fill up the questionnaire later. The data gathered from the questionnaire will be further analyzed using statistical tool SPSS to get the findings. 3.2 Research Questions In this research the main questions addressed are as follows:  To determine the changes occurred in recent times in Small Car segment in Indian Automobile Industry.  To understand the consumer shift towards small Car segment from Mid-size and SUVs and MUVs.  To determine the factors that affects the customer decision while buying a Car.  To understand the strategies adopted by various Automobile companies to address the changes in Consumer behavior towards Small car segment. 3.3 Participants Participants will be from Delhi/NCR who are using Cars in small car segment as their Transportation vehicle and who are willing to purchase it in the small car segment. The number of participants will be around 200-300. Method of sampling will be opportunity sampling or convenience sampling. 3.4 Data Collection The researcher will use primary data as well as secondary data for the purpose of study. The primary data will be collected by using interviews and questionnaire. 3.5 Instrumentation The instrument used in the research will be a questionnaire to collect the primary data and SPSS to analyze it.

3.6 Limitation The researcher will use only Delhi/NCR to collect the primary data and thus data does not represent the actual change in Indian Automobile industry in the whole India. It will not tell the whole scenario about the change in consumers behavior towards the small Car segment.
