PREMIER AUTHROIZED TRAINING PARTNER is a training-only partner that does not resell other Appcelerator products and services. A Premier ATP has an established training business and is prepared to market and sell Appcelerator training to both customers and partners

AUTHORIZED TRAINING PARTNER offers Appcelerator training in addition to reselling other Appcelerator products and services. They have multiple revenue channels which may also include systems integration and/or professional services.

TITANIUM CERTIFIED EXPERT (TCE) TRAINERS are Appcelerators highest level certification designed for those who have previously achieved TCAD and wish to provide Training services to other Titanium Developers in the community.

APPENDIX 1: CURRENT CLASS OFFERINGS

Building Native Mobile Apps with Titanium (BNAPP)

This hands-on instructor-led classroom training will equip developers with the knowledge they need to master key Titanium APIs and to understand the end-to-end process of developing a Titanium Mobile Application. At the conclusion of this class, students will be given the opportunity to take the Titanium Certified Developer (TCD) exam. Once a developer has passed this exam, they may submit an approved Titanium App to Appcelerators Titanium Application Catalog to achieve Titanium Certified App Developer status.

PRE-REQUISITES
Familiarity with the JavaScript programming language. Laptop with functional Titanium Development Environment of either Android 2.2 and/or iOS 4.2 SDK installed. APPENDIX 2: TITANIUM CERTIFIED EXPERT (TCE) TRAINER

A Titanium Authorized Training Partners applicant understands and agrees that they must achieve and maintain TCE Trainer designations for each Appcelerator course they offer. To achieve TCE Trainer certification, a candidate must successfully complete the following process for each Appcelerator course (such as the 2-day Building Native Mobile Apps with Titanium): 1. Attend a classroom based course delivered by any TCE Trainer 2. Pass the associated in-class certification 3. Study all course materials and hands-on exercises 4. Pass the full associated expert certification exam at a higher grade than required by students 5. Successfully co-teach at least 50% of the associated course with a TCE Master Trainer authorized by Appcelerator to evaluate TCE Trainer candidates. Official TCE Trainer designation is achieved through a combination of feedback from the Master Trainer who is co-teaching in addition to students attending the class. Official TCE Trainer status can only be designated by Appcelerator Training. Titanium Certified Expert (TCE) Trainers are the only people authorized to present Appcelerator courseware designated by Training (training@appcelerator.com). They must also ensure that they only present courseware approved by Appcelerator Training.

At the conclusion of each class, the TCE Trainer must ensure that all students Submit an online Class Feedback form Are offered in-class student access for their first attempt passing the associated certification exam

TCE Trainers must be responsible to Notify Appcelerator Training (training@appcelerator.com) immediately if there were any concerns raised by students during the class delivery Stay current by following any recertification procedure required to offer the latest courseware TCE Trainers may be required to attend any Train-the-Trainer course, in-person or by Webinar, as required by Appcelerator Training.

APPENDIX 3: APPLICATION PROCESS AND PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME AN ATP

Step-by-Step Authorization Process to become an ATP 1. Conduct a self-assessment to determine whether the Appcelerator ATP program is a logical partnership 2. Complete the Appcelerator ATP Application (Appendix 4) 3. Agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement 4. Review this Program Overview 5. Upon application acceptance, review and complete follow on annual ATP Program Agreement (Terms and Conditions) 6. Ensure your designated trainer follows the TCE Trainer process for each course that the ATP wishes to offer culminating in a co-teach with an Appcelerator designated Master Trainer. 7. Submit training schedules and registration web site url to Appcelerator and regularly update Appcelerator with new schedules, changes of employment status of TCE Trainers, etc. 8. Attend a meeting with Appcelerator to review program administration requirements and orientation on the online ordering system for purchasing training courseware.

Action Items after Authorization Process is Completed Regularly update Appcelerator on training schedules; i.e., new dates, rescheduled dates, cancellations, etc. Send copies of Class Sign-in sheets to Appcelerator Training Services after each class Ensure students complete online class evaluation after each course on the last training day Ensure students are provided certification exam access each course on the last training day Pay associated royalties to Appcelerator within 30-days end of class

Training Facility ATPs must adhere to a certain minimum facility standards to ensure an optimal learning experience and curriculum retention. Training classrooms must: Accommodate a minimum of eight students per class Accommodate the training equipment required for each course Contain a functioning projection device and white boards Be properly lighted and ventilated to ensure a comfortable learning environment Provide essential accommodations such as restrooms and break areas Meet the network infrastructure requirements required for specific Appcelerator course

Equipment ATPs must adhere to a certain minimum equipment standards to ensure an optimal learning experience and curriculum retention. Each student must have access to a computer equipped in the manner as for specific Appcelerator course.

Instructor Requirements / Train-the-Trainer Appcelerator ATP instructors must achieve TCE Trainer certification and meet the following requirements to be authorized to teach each Appcelerator course: Be authorized on a per-course basis and certified to instruct at the revision level currently being offered Be certified and authorized as an instructor in at least one other related developer training program such as Apple, Google, Adobe, etc., preferably with at least two years of technical instruction Demonstrate an expert understanding of Javascript, HTML, XML working skills, preferably with mobile programming experience and web development concepts such HttpRequest, Model View Controller, etc. Complete all associated Appcelerator online courses Pass certification exams with higher grade than required by students Complete a co-teach in person with an Appcelerator designated Master TCE Trainer Renew authorization for major course revisions as needed
