74/2011-12 Applications are invited from the Indian Nationals in prescribed format for the post of Assistant Professor in Faculty of Arts, Education and Social Sciences (Economics-7, English-9, Fine Arts & Painting-1, Geography-5, Hindi-12, History-8, Music-2, Political Science-5, Psychology-2, Public Administration-1, Rajasthani-3, Sociology-3), Faculty of Science (Botany-14, Chemistry-8, Geology-1, Home Science-1, Mathematics & Statistics-3, Physics-3 & Zoology-7), Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies (Accounting-2, Business Administration-6, Business Finance & Economics-2, Management Studies-4), Faculty of Law (Law-5). The candidate will download the format of application form from university website www.jnvu.edu.in. The details of Qualifications, terms and conditions, distribution of posts in different categories (General, OBC, SC & ST etc.) and other relevant information are available on the university website. Duly filled in application form, complete in all respect, together with all supporting documents must be submitted to the Registrar, JNV University, Jodhpur - 342011 personally or through Registered/ Speed Post along with a demand draft of Rs. 500/- for General and OBC; and Rs. 250/- for SC/ ST/ PH categories in favour of the Registrar, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, payable at Jodhpur on or before 25th January, 2012 up to 05:00 p.m. The non-resident of Rajasthan, irrespective of reservation, has to submit demand draft of Rs. 500/-. Applications received after this date will not be entertained in any circumstances.

JAI NARAIN VYAS UNIVERSITY ; JODHPUR ADVERTISEMENT NO. 74/2011-12 Terms and Conditions 12The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts advertised and also to alter in the number of posts to be filled-up. The University will be free to make adjustment/changes in the distribution of advertised posts in various category, if circumstances so warrant, due to direction of the Government or otherwise. Three percent Posts reserved for disable persons will be adjusted in the category to which the selected disable candidates will belong as per rules. All candidates appointed under this advertisement will be governed by the new pension scheme of the University, unless otherwise provided in the rules. The appointee will be paid UGC Pay Band and initially he/she will be put on probation for a period of two years and will be paid as per rules. University will not be responsible for any delay including postal delay. The university will be free to take any appropriate step to streamline the process of selection. Incomplete application form will not be considered. If the space provided in the format of application is not found sufficient, the candidate may use extra sheet. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending interview. Persons who are already in employment, send their applications through proper channel along with No Objection Certificate. First Class or equivalent in Master Degree in Business Management / Business Administration/Master of Tourism Administration (M.T.A.) / in a relevant management related discipline or first class in two year full time PGDBM / PGDM declared equivalent by AIU / accredited by the AICTE / UGC. OR First Class graduate and professionally qualified Chartered Accountant / Cost and Work Accountant / Company Secretary of the concerned statutory body. Note : 1.
