Objective of our project: All the existing systems that are designed for the handicapped and physically disabled persons help them in some specific areas only, and there exist no single system that help them with their basic needs of interfacing with all the electrical equipments of home. Hence the basic need of the hour is to have such a system which can help them to control all the home appliances without any motion. This system is designed to help the handicapped and paralyzed persons to regulate their home appliances by just the movement of their head in some specific direction. This system also help them to send a message in emergency condition to one specific number by the movement of their head in other direction, also they can sound a buzzer to indicate that they need some help by moving their head in another direction. Brief description: This project will comprise of two modules such as: 1. Transmitter Section 2. Receiver Section MODULE1: Transmitter Section y A gyroscope is a device for measuring or maintaining orientation, based on the principles of conservation of angular momentum.Controlling the level of water tank and avoiding wastage

Gyroscope Sensor senses the direction if motion. It then gives signals to RF transmitter. RF transmitter Transmits the data to receiver

MODULE 2: Receiver Section y y y RF receiver receives the data sent by RF transmitter It gives signals to the microcontroller. Microcontroller controls the devices according to the program that are fed into it.

Unique features of the project: y y y A low cost system that can efficiently predict and perform certain specified action. A better understanding of gyroscope technology and its interfacing with various other technologies. Development of problem solving skills and system designing.

Existing Approaches : Some of the parts or modules of this project in different forms various applications are used but this is a creative idea and is not even heard in general. There are some devices present which works as a gesture recognition, and recognize the gesture of a person and then perform the predefined function. But this system is completely different from all the existing system as it senses the direction of motion of the head of a person and then help an individual to have access on all the home equipment that are connected with it.

How is this proposal different from existing approaches based on : Originally : Basic concept is taken from different areas, departments and combined to implement for an office to make that smarter then any existing office till today. Performance : This is an advanced system which can save energy and make system very efficient. Providing extra comfort to the users. Costs/ benefits :This is a system which can save the energy providing extra ordinary comfort with advanced security as well.

Approach to solving the problem : (implementation details) modeling: In this we make a model of home to explain the advanced concept of the project. Construction: different modules are made separately and combined further to make the project complete. The modules are made as shown below

Reasons why this proposal should be considered for selection: This project provides a better and a smarter way for all the types of disable person to easily and smartly access their home appliances. This projected if implemented on large scale can also be accepted by many NGOs that are working for disable persons.
