Econometrics Project: (Spring Semester) 1st year MSc. (2011), LUMS, Lahore Analyzed time series data of the U.S. economy using STATA to determine the effects of increasing productivity on wages. Identified and fixed autocorrelation present in the data. Major Qualifying Project (MQP): (Senior year) B term (2008) D term (2009), WPI, Worcester, MA Researched the criterion for vessel-ring bioreactors used in industry and identified the requirements of a bioreactor to be used at the biomedical engineering laboratory at WPI. Designed and assembled a working vessel-ring bioreactor for dynamic conditioning of tissue engineered vasculature. Project competed at the 35th Northeast Bioengineering Conference in Boston, MA (April 2009) and the 2009 Biomedical Engineering Society Annual Meeting. Abstracts published in conference proceedings. Experimental Biomechanics Project: (Senior year) B term, 2008, WPI, Worcester, MA Conducted experiment using an Instron machine to model osteoporotic bone with chicken bone submerged in HCl. Using data obtained from Instron machine in MATLAB, determined the time required for chicken bone to be submerged in HCl to resemble osteoporotic bones mechanical properties (tensile strength and elasticity). Interactive Qualifying Project (IQP): (Senior year) A term, 2008, WPI, Morocco Recognized the needs of a school in a rural village in Morocco by on site studies. Proposed a plan to bring running water and build a bathroom facility on school premises. Independent work has been done to obtain funding from aid organizations to make plan a realization. Finite Element Method Analysis & Application Project: (Junior year) E term, 2008, WPI, Worcester, MA Using ANSYS, created an FEM model of an impact that caused deformation observed in a manufacturing process. Bioinstrumentation and Biosensors Project: (Junior year) B term, 2007, WPI, Worcester, MA Designed an electrical circuit that could be used as a filter to monitor child apnea.

Rehabilitation Engineering Design Project: (Sophomore year) D term, 2007, WPI, Worcester, MA Designed a solenoid activated, spring loaded golf putter for use by paraplegic patients. Product currently in use by the caretakers at Seven Hills at Groton, for patients with cerebral palsy for playing miniature golf. Engineering Experimentation Laboratory Group Projects: C Term, 2007, WPI, Worcester, MA Conducted numerous experiments, focusing on proper laboratory methodology and procedures. Learned to use LabView to digitally set up experiments. Group Computer Aided Design Project: A term, WPI, Worcester, MA Assembled Model of Sterling Engine by reverse engineering. Created CAD Drawing of Sterling Engine with relevant information including dimensions and appropriate views (multi-view, auxiliary and section views.)
