Till now I have successfully designed and commercialized 9 products (15 29 TF, 21
US CRT sizes) including five models of 21 TF DY developed achieving a BoM cost reduction of 40% in steps.

 With design of 15" TF DY, we established a new design concept for True Flat CRTs, a

shift from the conventional designs. Reduced the number of product variants to just 2 models in 21 TF design through detailed study of TV chassis of different customers and bringing out a chassis design compatible with either of the two variants. Created a system for design modeling & developed supporting application programs. This gave a leap of 45% on time line and close to 30% reduction in project cost. This part was earlier done with support from international design houses, with expertise in this field. Developed 3-D modeling routine for modeling of components and Molds in AutoDesk MDT. 21TFV1 design introduced a new manufacturing concept. Successfully handled technical and emotional issues of operations team for new product introduction. Developed several special purpose Test Benches including An automatic ITC, based on Graphic capture and Image processing. A universal test bench for characterizing Electron Guns. Conceptualized, designed and implemented the Control & Instrumentation system for Design prototype lab. The schema of the prototyping lab was to mimic the entire CRT manufacturing process, scaled down. An automatic optical bench for UV exposure used in photolithography system of manufacturing CRT screen. Developed Turbo-C based software to design the aspheric lens used in the Optical Exposure system during CRT manufacturing
