Pre-requisite and knowledge required for training in F&B Trainee must be fluent in English (write, read, speak and comprehend). F&B Basic knowledge from hotel institute[s] is essential. What are our key expectations in F&B relative to your Training? The intern must have a positive attitude, be very hospitable, be enthusiastic about the training program and have good work ethics. The trainee must be able to work flexible hours and withstand pressure in fast paced work environment. The trainee should also have some F&B background from previous experience and/or school/college to understand service standards and techniques. Number of hours per week: _____(40-48 hours weekly) depending on season and special functions.

The intern will attend an Orientation within the first week of arrival. The orientation is a half day training which will introduce the intern to the company policies and the F&B sanitation standards. Fire training will be covered during this phase.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE and AGREEMENT Food and Beverage Department agrees to follow the training plan which is developed prior to the trainees arrival at the Resort to ensure that the trainee will have access to adequate resources and trained personnel in order to fulfill the objectives of the training. Furthermore, the Host Business agrees that we will continually provide evaluation and feedback to the trainee regarding the trainees progress. We will NOT place a trainee in a position that would otherwise be filled by a part-time or full-time-Leopard Beach Resort employee. The trainee agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of Leopard Beach Resort & Spa.
