We have known and worked closely with Scott ever since he became the Director of the Farwest Agribusiness Association nearly twenty years ago Scott has interacted well with OFS staff and membership. He is always willing to bring his expertise to the table when called upon even if it means inconvenient travel to Salem, Oregon. Scott knows how to work effectively in a coalition atmosphere, simultaneously representing and protecting the needs of his members, while finding a way to accomplish the goals of the larger group. As an individual he is an initiator -- as part of a team, he is an active participant, not a passive observer. Not only does Scott understand the impact of market conditions on agricultural business, but places equal attention on the importance of political and regulatory impacts as well
Terry L. Witt, Executive Director & Paulette L. Pyle, Director of Grass Roots Oregonians for Food and Shelter (OFS) Oregonians for Food and Shelter served as the lobbying arm of Far West in Oregon. I worked with them on a number of legislative and regulatory issues regarding the fertilizer and pesticide industry in the state. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------

Scott is regarded as a trusted, reliable source of information, in matters pertaining to our Agri Business Industry. Scott has always impressed me with his work ethic, his candor, and well thought out responses, when put to the test, of tackling the hard questions and or projects assigned to him. Scotts attention to detail and his good working relationship with his constituents is admired by all within our industry. I have worked side by side with Scott in matters dealing with the Pacific Northwest Certified Crop Adviser Program, also with the International Certified Crop Adviser Program. Scotts hard work and dedication to these programs, has been, in my opinion a large part of the reason for their success. Scott is a pleasure to work with and a person who can be trusted to get the job done. I believe Scott McKinnie would be a very fine addition to any organization looking for a competent, hard working, professional employee.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have known Scott for over 10 years in his position as Executive Director of the Far West Agribusiness Association. Through these years, I have had the opportunity to work closely with him on many agriculture-related issues. Some of these issues were extremely political, controversial, and scientifically challenged that tested the most accomplished leader. Scotts friendly personality is an asset to building a network of resources, fostering open communication and understanding. It is with my respect and pleasure that I highly recommend Scott McKinnie for any position of leadership and vision. It is without any doubt that he has the skills and expertise to provide the guidance necessary to move an organization forward.
