Participants have the opportunity to gain an insight into the working environment within an international company. Moreover, they benefit from an atmosphere of open communication between scientists and engineers from different cultures and disciplines and are invited to take the opportunity to participate in an international network.
Participants
Participants are PhD candidates in Chemistry PhD candidates rsp. graduate students of chemical/process and automation engineering Because of the strong interest in BASFs Summer Courses and a limitation of 50 participants per course, there is a selection procedure. Selection criteria are: excellent professional skills, relevance of the technical background to BASF and a high diversity within the group. Prerequisites are excellent communication skills in English, as the Course will be completely in English. Interested candidates and students are asked to apply online via www.basf.com/summercourse before March 16, 2012. The following documents will be needed: cover letter describing their motivation for participating in the Summer Course rsum (CV) letter of recommendation by their professor
