THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ,

his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. GLORIA PATRI Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen. DOXOLOGY Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise him, all creatures here below; Praise him above, ye heavenly host: Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.

*CALL TO WORSHIP Leader: Thanks be to God for this new day! All: Thanks be to God for the creation that surrounds us, for the gift of Gods presence as we worship, for strength to live boldly for the Lord. Thanks be to God for this new day! *HYMN #436G Grace Alone *PRAYER OF CONFESSION Our words are feeble as we come to you in prayer. Even though you are faithful to us, we too often forget you. You have lifted us up when we have fallen into despair. You have turned our tears into laughter and joy. You have protected us when we have been in danger. You will never move. Yet we move away from you. We turn away from your presence to seek the fleeting affirmation of others. We forget your name to clamor after prosperity at all costs. Turn us around again, that we might see your face, and receive your mercy. *MOMENTS FOR SILENT, PERSONAL CONFESSION *ASSURANCE OF PARDON *AFFIRMATION OF FAITH The Apostles Creed (back cover of bulletin) *GLORIA PATRI (back cover of bulletin)
