FEBRUARY 12, 2012 RUNNING TOGETHER: Special One Day Class Join Pastor Rocky on Saturday, March 3 from 8:45 a.m. 12:00 p.m., in the Student Center, as he teaches the complete Running Together Northside Membership Class. If youre new to Northside or if youre a member who hasnt previously attended, this class is for you! Childcare (ages 11 and under) will be provided by reservation only. We are asking attendees to please register in advance. Registration forms are available at the information desk or call Mary @ 926-3029. Deadline to enroll is Wednesday, February 29. Indoor Playground The day youve been waiting for has arrived and the indoor playground is now opened to Northside members and guests each Wednesday and Friday morning from 9 am to 11 am. This time of free play is available to children ages 3 to 12 years old who are accompanied by a responsible adult willing to follow posted rules. Watchman on the Wall Prayer Warriors are needed to help cover NS 24/7 in prayer. We have slots open on various days/ times. A monthly newsletter is provided to guide you as you pray. Middle School/High School Father Son Retreat! - February 17-18 Do not miss this incredible overnight retreat at the Lexington YMCA! The cost is $15 per person. Thirsty Day Camps Thirsty Spring Break and Summer registrations are now open. You can register your child for one week or twelve at www.northsidebaptist.org! Cost: $100 per week, after registration fees, and includes field trips. Sibling discount available. South Carolina Disaster Relief Training Disaster can strike at any time! Become trained to assist in disaster relief areas. The next disaster relief training will be held at White Oak Conference Center in Winnsboro, SC, March 2-3. Lodging at White Oak is subject to availability. The cost is $30 - for returning volunteers, and $35 for new volunteers (paid by Northside). Worship & Arts Retreat Come join the Worship & Arts Department for a FREE weekend retreat! Friday, February 24 from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday, February 25 from 8:30 am 4 pm at our Lexington Campus. This retreat will be a time of worship, spiritual growth, and breakout workshops. Ideal for anyone interested in getting involved in Worship & Arts as well as those who already serve in the choir, praise band, orchestra or AVL ministries. Friday night dinner, Saturday breakfast & lunch, and childcare will be provided.
