Briefing Points:
y The FMCG sector is a fast growing market sector and hence there is a need to develop a strong distribution channel .In such a case, it is vital for the HR team to be in consistent correspondence with the Sales Team, and then perform their desired functions of training , selection , recruitment etc y There would be 3 teams: The Recruitment and the Selection Team , The Training Team and The Performance Appraisal Team. Each team would consist of 5 members, under the guidance of a team leader y All the three teams would be headed by Mr. Anil Bagree , Regional HR Manager, Rector & Hazard. Each team should report to him every week on Monday y The Recruitment and Selection Team and The Performance Appraisal Team would have to work in close coordination with the line managers in order to undertake sound decisions during Human Resource Planning

y In case of any further hiring or firing, Mr Rakesh Agarwal, Regional Recruitment Manager, should be informed and decisions would be taken in consultation with the core committee y All departments need to prepare balanced score card performance appraisal system to evaluate employee job performance ,and an evaluation would determine the training needs and appropriate job allocation based on competencies y Maintain and follow the HR policies in accordance to the Companies corporate policies y Employees should be discouraged to use mobile phones during their working hours. Hence necessary arrangements with security to store mobile phones would be provided to the employees y Assist in the reform and analysis of company policies and practices to ensure they continue to achieve the organisation s goal y The Complaints and Grievances should be handled in a most unbiased manner, in accordance to the rules and regulations governing the organization, since it is a very important aspect of the HR policy y Since the HR team is the crucial part of an organisation, HR personnels should be very cautious about their behaviour and conduct in maintaining the organizational reputation

y The FMCG sector is a fast growing market sector and hence there is a need to develop a strong distribution channel .In such a case, it is important for the team to work in close coordination with each other y There are 3 teams each consisting of 8 members who look after the channel distribution under the guidance of a team leader y Each team would be allocated a specified area or a region to be covered within a particular period and no team would interfere in others teams domain y All the three teams would be headed by Mr. Haresh Gujral , Regional Sales Manager, Rector & Hazard

y Each team has a target of 24 dealers a month, which when exceeded will lead to incentives. Christmas and New Year is around the corner. A strong distribution channel would enhance the sales our newly launched chips POTO in the market and create greater consumer awareness y The sales team is also required to take continuous feedback from the market and the distributers about the product y Every team leader must report to Mr Gujral on every Saturday evening and hand him the report. Mr Gujral will in-turn prepare a monthly report of each team and hand it over to me. y Mr Gujral will personally deal with the major retail players in the market like Big Bazaar, Spencers, Citismart etc y In case of any negotiation beyond the policy laws, Mr Ramanathan, National Sales Manager, Rector & Hazard should be consulted y Any misconduct on the field by any employee will not be accepted and strict actions would be taken against him/her. y Any employee showing lack of interest in the tasks assigned to him/her shall be reported to the Regional Head for further actions. y Each employee in the Channel Distribution team has to build good relationship with the potential dealers so it

becomes easier for the Marketing Team to establish the channel successfully
Briefing Points: y y y The IT team which is going for a project to USA should try to adapt to the culture of USA. The members should maintain as much distance and formal relation with the people and clients as possible because the people in USA dont like over friendly people. They should follow all the rules and regulations of the city as made by the Government body so that they dont have to face hassle. Basic rules like traffic, colony, etc should be strictly followed because the laws are very stringent and there would be no exceptions to them. The members should remember that they dont enter into the personal space of any individual there. The team should put in their full effort and stick to their work schedule and hours very strictly. The project must be finished within the given deadline so that the client doesnt have any complaint against the company or any employees. Any violation of the rules will be completely the employees liability and not the company. Any kind of noise or misconduct in the foreign country will not be tolerated and the employee will have to bear the consequences, if any.
