PCC-MCA Programme PCC-MCA (Preparatory Course in Computing for MCA) is a bridge course for candidates who have not studied Mathematics as a distinct subject at the 10+2 level. They need to clear the PCC-MCA examination along with the first semester / third semester (for lateral entry) examination of MCA. If a candidate cannot clear the PCCMCA examination in the first attempt, he/she has to appear for supplementary examinations as per university rule and should clear the examination within the tenure of the course. PCC-MCA is a self-study programme. Course Content: Abstract Algebra and Set Theory; Number System & Boolean Algebra; Sequence of series; Permutation and Combination; Matrices and Determinants; Quadratic equations; Differential and Integral Calculus; Probability and Statistics; Numerical Analysis; Flowcharts & Algorithms Evaluation Method Evaluation will be on the basis of home assignment & internal practical assessment for distance mode and mid-semester examination for contact mode as well as theoretical and practical examinations held once in every year in the month of December, for all semesters, where students from both January & July semesters of the same year are eligible to appear in the TEE in December. Examinations will be held at the end of every semester. A student will be declared to have passed the MCA examination on the basis of 49
