To enable/disable the palm guard, double-tap on one of the blue circles at the bottom corners; these are visible only when using a pen tool. Each document can have tags associated with it. Tags can be used to determine which documents are displayed on the home screen by selecting the desired tag in the horizontally scrolling tags list at the bottom of the screen.
