Position Responsibilities: Oversee and provide leadership to assigned local sales and operations teams to ensure we have the appropriate sales and operational processes and practices in place in order to achieve our revenue commitments. This includes oversight of pipeline reporting, tracking and review, customer proposals, presentation development and pricing review. The Business Development Leader will work with the local sales leader to ensure we are monitoring and changing our sales strategy as needed. Provide oversight for the strategy and related business cases for all activities related to product development and enhancements in assigned markets. Will be able to justify the business cases by understanding the strategy for new products, the rationale, the market, and our competition in support of growing the business and achieving revenue targets. Serve as the product and marketing expert for new Emerging Markets acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships. May serve as a point of contact and interact with the local Board of Directors, shareholder, partners and other key stakeholders. At the appropriate time in the business cycle, the BD Leader will be responsible for taking the assigned business to the next level by integrating more detailed processes and procedures as it relates to new product development (NPI,) public relations (including internal and external communications,) marketing and human resources. Strong experience in managing successful model development, implementation and maintenance projects Strong understanding of data analysis and implementation of data driven solutions Have a strong understanding of how data is used to support customer targeting and acquisitions Demonstrated successes in selling the value of analytical solutions across complex organizations Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience working with/managing relationships with external strategic partners. Strong organizational skills This individual must be and self-motivated and have the able to work independently with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor and diplomacy. Strong balance between technical skills and interpersonal skills. This role initially requires extensive travel to India and Russia and will change over time as we enter new markets. The length and frequency of travel will be dependent upon the needs of the business and is likely to include weekends. Travel could be as much as 75% at times dependent upon where we are in the cycle of entering a new market. Cultural sensitivity is required.
