IOCR Scheme for Data Cards

Dear Team, In the present age of IT connectivity, Data Cards play a vital role for remote locations such as Project Offices and for people who are on the move. A perennial problem being faced by many team members is about unreliability and poor service from Telecom companies. Some team members have suggested switch over to another service provider, instead of being constrained to use the Data Cards provided by the company. In order to resolve all these issues, we have come up with the Individually Owned Company Reimbursed (IOCR) scheme. Under this scheme, eligible team members would procure the Data Cards that work well in their respective regions of posting, directly from the Service Provider. Team members would pay their monthly / usage bills directly and get the same reimbursed by the company (within preapproved limits) on a monthly basis. We have discussed with the two major national players Tata Telecom and Reliance, and have negotiated attractive terms with them: a) Waiver of the initial fee towards cost of the device (typically Rs. 1500 to 2000), and b) Extension of the corporate rates of monthly billing at individual (employee) level. The various plans available from these service providers to Feedbackers are enclosed. This scheme would work as follows: i. Eligible employees (including retainers), who are required to use Data Cards for executing their official duties, would apply to IT through their line managers and Nodal HR (form is enclosed), confirming eligibility and specifying the Usage Plan. IT would forward the contact details of the eligible employees to the Service Providers selected by them. The service provider would then contact the employees and send the IOCR Application form at their location. The Employees would submit the relevant documents directly to the service provider the IOCR application from, duly filled in, Company ID Proof, 1 Photograph, Proof of Residence and PAN Card. In case company ID Proof is not available they can attach the Reference Letter from Nodal HR. The Data Card would be provided by the Service Provider within 7 days of submitting the application. Employees need to create their online accounts for the Data Cards issued to them, for making online payments. Employees would receive monthly bills for their data cards at their respective email IDs, and shall make the payment. Employees would submit to F&A, the printouts of the online payments made, along with their other monthly vouchers for reimbursements.

In case the bill amounts exceed the employees monthly entitlements, due approval would need to be taken from the line management prior to submission to F&A. On activation of their new Data Cards, employees would promptly return their companyprovided Data Cards to IT for de-activation.

Eligible employees may send their requests (form enclosed) for Data Cards through their Line Managers to Nodal HR by 10th June 2011. The company-provided Data Cards would be de-activated by 25th June 2011.

Note: These being company-sponsored connections, Initial Fee is waived off. Employees would need to pay the first 3 months monthly charges at the time of enrolling; the same would be reimbursed by Feedback Infra.
