Getting To Know The Life Coach

There's more to the acronym NV. Aside from Natural Virtues, it also stands for Navie Veloria and I would like to say Kumusta? . I am your Personal Private Life Coach and Tutor. A review of my 25-year old career reveals my being passionately in love with teens and their families, mothers and women (whether professional or not) in making a difference in whatever personal circumstances they find themselves in---at home, at school, in the community, in the office, in the hospital, in the factory, in the street or elsewhere. My extensive travels and relocations to US, Europe, & Asia were opportunities to naturally integrate with culturally diverse people, and working with them allowed me to share my passion in building strong characters and strong families. I strongly believe that progress in personal, professional, as well as in family life is the result of progress in virtue. I am a mother of six wonderful children, three are in the US Navy. I also hold the thoughest job in the Army: ARMY WIFE and this exposure to military life allowed me to realize that discipline and fortitude are essential not only in combat, but in successful learning as well. For this reason, I go beyond the academics when tutoring my clients. I teach them the value of discipline and fortitude, and the results are more than remarkable---all the time. I have been in and around Life Coaching even before somebody invented that term. I am an advocate of the personal growth model and my services equally reflect my ardent desire for my clients' personal excellence. On the table, I always bring with me my education: Bachelor s Degree in Psychology and Masteral Courses / Triple Major in Clinical Counseling, Values Education and Management. I also give the benefit of my vast experiences as a psychologist for the Armed Forces; executive director of a school; classroom teacher; teen advisor; formator; guidance counselor / guidance consultant at different public and private schools, colleges and universities; radio, television, and print media resource person; lecturer & consultant for human resources training and development for corporations and the military (neuro-psychiatric screening). My field of expertise includes School Psychology, focusing on Parent, Faculty, and Student Development. I design and run modules on Values Education such as Dignity of Work, Family Values, Parenting, Child Training, Social Ethics, Leadership Training, People Handling, Communication, Team Management, and many others. I am very interested in designing and running both the Personal and Professional Formation Programs of Parents, Teachers and Students. I have consulted and spoken to various groups---military, civilian, management and rank and file, and I regularly respond to many requests for training programs for professional organizations, parents and teachers association, and businesses engaged in manufacturing, medical health, food, banking, courier, construction, manpower, national security, telephone system, bottling, semi-conductors, and schools.
