Dear Ms. Star: I am a member of a committee that is planning Career Day for the Grade 9 students of our school, Elizabeth May. I have decided to invite you as our guest speaker for this special day. We would be grateful if you could discuss the various aspects of your job. Topics for discussion may include a brief description of your career as a hair stylist, the education necessary, salary range, benets of your career, essential qualities needed for your profession, to name a few. You are welcome to discuss any other aspect of your career in the preferred 35 minute time frame. The presentation will take place at our school where 125 grade 9 students will be waiting for your arrival. The presentation is expected to begin at 11:00 and as I mentioned earlier, it should take approximately 35 minutes to complete. You should be there 10 minutes in advance. In addition, lunch will be provided for you. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to talk to individual students and further explain the highlights of your career. We would truly appreciate it if you accept this invitation as we all looking forward to meeting you. We are all getting to the point in life where we should be preparing for our future.
