Anyone who says the entertainment industry is a slow changer must be a bit of a slow changer themselves. Last year the rising star was Adele, the viral music video was from LMFAO, the new popular genre was dubstep, the awards sweep was done by Katy Perry, the joke was Rebecca Black, the New Zealand music dominators were Six60, the big breakdown was Charlie Sheen and the massive movie was the final Harry Potter flick. Within ten months, all of these categories would have been re-filled quicker than a small coke at Subway. Time will one tell what movie, music, and televisions big performers and productions will be - and we will be covering it. Pulse welcomes 2012 Arts Captain Stevie Woodwark to the editorial team. Ryan Poole and Samuel Williams have also come on as Deputy Editors for this year. As always, if you have story ideas or are interested in writing, contact Mr Cotton, myself, Stevie or any of the other Pulse writers. So far the world hasnt ended, which means keep an eye out for coming issues this year and welcome to 2012. Prashan Casinader, Editor
