How to Understand Leak Buster

The Leak Buster columns are of paramount importance in understanding your leaks. The table below lists the columns definitions. Column Stat Definition A stat as taken from Holdem Manager. See your Holdem Manager documentation for detailed definitions of each stat. Your stat value according to your hand histories you have imported into Holdem Manager. The optimal range your stat should be at in relation to your stat value. This will be denoted A-F (+/-) and relative only to what leak buster displays as optimal ranges for the given stat. **Also this row can be sorted in ascending or descending order for convenience under Step 2: Leakbuster Simple Mode. The lower your score, the more important the leak is. The lower this score the more you are outside of the optimal LB range. You can click on the score column to sort leaks in ascending or descending order. If you have a leak or a potential leak, a leak logo will appear by the statistic and advice will appear in the right pane. The larger the leak logo the more serious the leak.

Leak Buster Scoring Explanation

Leak Buster scores your statistics based on 3 primary factors. 1. How close your particular statistic is from the Leak Buster recommended ranges (read below for explanation on recommended ranges). You are given a grade based on this from A+ - F (A+ being best) in the area labeled: Optimal Range Grade. 2. How your returned data for each statistic compares to other data ranges winrates. You may score within a leak buster recommended range, but a slightly higher data range has a higher winrate. So you will not score as high, even though you are within the recommended range. NOTE: The Leak Buster recommended range is provided as a range where most players can win at a fairly high winrate. However, there are some statistical areas where higher winrates are possible. Leak Buster does not recommend these however simply because fewer samples of people can maintain this winrate than in other data ranges. 3. A simple Bayesian +/- is given based on your same size. The larger the sample, the smaller this +/- is given, which is directly calculated into the Winrate Impact Score.

All of these factors are combined and translated into the Winrate Impact Score. This is your TRUE score, and most important factor to consider when examining leaks.

Optimal Range Grade

ABC Grade Type Ranges A-B (+/-) Definition You are playing optimally for this stat if "NO" leak icons are denoted and a higher winrate impact score is visible. A potential leak is denoted by a smaller leak logo and smaller winrate impact score. A leak here is denoted by a big leak logo and smallest winrate impact score.

A-C (+/-) B-F (+/-)

Winrate Impact Score

Your Optimal range grade is translated into a number, and this is put into a ratio with how your winrate for the given stat you are analyzing compares to other winrate range. A +/- score is given based on your sample size, and a final Winrate Impact Score is produced. A score of 1 - 10 (10 being the best score) is given.

15

Leak Icons
Your leaks in step 2 are sorted by order of importance. This means, this particular leak is impacting your winrate the most. A large leak icon means this is an important leak. A small leak icon indicates this is a potential leak. It's something that may or may not be a leak now, but could quickly become one. Leak Icon Meaning Large Leak Icon: An Important leak that you should investigate and use Leak Buster's resources to understand better. Small Leak Icon: A potential leak. This could be an area of your game that can become a serious leak soon, but it isn't necessarily a leak.

Optimal Ranges
The Leak Buster recommended Optimal range for each statistical area is displayed above the line graph. You can see where your stat lies within the line graph and the recommended range for each stat.
