NRHH, accepting applications instead of inducting

i. “NY Anime Festival” proposal – Kati DeRaimondo
a. Wants to take 20 residents to attend NY Anime Festival, tickets cost $37 (group=10) per
resident, transportation costs $8.30 per resident
b. Residents give money to Kati, RHA reimburses Kati, Kati distributes refund to
residents
c. Publicity – Flyers (made by Grace, will have RHA logo if proposal is approved),
Facebook Group
d. Discount only applies to residents only
e. Plan A – RHA covers cost of transportation of 20 residents, $8.30 each, $166 total
f. Plan B – RHA covers cost of transportation of 20 residents, $8.30 each and $2 off the
ticket price per resident for 20 residents, total $206
g. Plan B approved
h. Motion to give Kati additional funds to cover half the ticket, $18.50, of each resident
for 20 residents totaling $536(including transportation)
i. Motion approved
VI. Open Floor and Services Issues
i. Redwood has leaking ceilings because of the air condition, proposed to make a RHA “follow up
group” to make sure that HBAC is fixing faulty air conditions, Ken volunteers to lead the group,
Laurel also reported some similar problems during the summer, not sure if they were fixed
