SOUTH DELHI
South district is considered to be the most affluent of all residential districts of Delhi. This comparison of course, excludes the districts falling under Lutyen's Delhi, viz. New Delhi and Central Delhi. With upscale areas like Greater Kailash, Chittaranjan Park, Alaknanda, Hauz Khas, Green Park, Defence Colony, New Friends Colony, Gulmohar Park, Gulmohar enclave and Vasant Kunj, it has the highest land prices outside Lutyen's Zone in Delhi. WHAT IS SPENDING..??????

Consumer spending can be categorized into regular spends and lifestyle spends. Regular spending includes the basic necessities of life, while lifestyle spending includes spending on a computer, internet, car, cell phone, etc. Analysis of consumer spending in the past 10 years reveals that the average consumer has been spending on an increasing number of different goods. There are a number of factors affecting the consumer spending pattern in India; these include growing income levels resulting in more disposable income with individuals, changing attitudes towards consumption, changes in prices, introduction of new products, availability of credit such as loans, mortgages and credit cards, rising aspiration levels, increased literacy, growing brand consciousness and rapid urbanization.

Spending habits are different for people belonging to different sections of society. For instance, people belonging to the middle class consider basic necessities and education and spending toward the future of their children as their top priorities, followed by lifestyle goods. The rich class spends more on luxury goods and international brands. The super rich class spends on ultra luxury goods. It is observed that as disposable income increases, people prefer more of branded goods, shift to processed foods, and the expenditure on food, beverages, tobacco, and transport and communication also increases. A comparison of consumer spending habits in 2002 with those in 2007 revealed that expenditure on food, clothing and personal care has remained more or less constant, but expenditure on entertainment has increased.

Shopping habits of Indians are changing due to their growing disposable income, relative increase in the younger population, and the change in attitudes towards shopping. The emphasis has changed the way of purchasing power of the customer during any events .Now the people spend more money during different occasions like wedding ,anniversary party ,birthday party etc. Customer now go for wedding planner who plan every aspect of wedding and ceremony. Shopping habits are different in different occasions. People invest more money in marriages as compare to other event or occasions. Thus spending habits changes from time to time and eventg to event .

By comparing both the data we can assume that the people of east Delhi generally spend more than people of south Delhi in Anniversary. Around 60% people of East Delhi spend in the range between 50000-75000. Expenses of South Delhi people is very volatile as compared to East Delhi people BIRTHDAY PARTY NORTH DELHI

SOUTH DELHI (Bday)

By seeing the both graphs we can say that 50% people of east generally like to spend in the range of 30000-40000 thousand in the bday parties and around 50% of the south delhi people like to spend more then 40000 thousand in bday parties .And more thing which we noticed was people of east delhi like to celebrate these small small occasations very well but this was not seen in the south delhi people.

CONCLUSION
By seeing the above analysis we can conclude that people in South Delhi spend more money in different events like marriage ,party, anniversary etc as compared to East Delhi. As we know that residents of South Delhi are more rich and have a good amount of money to spend ,thus they spend more as compared to the East Delhi people.East Delhi people spend less on small party but spend more amount of money in wedding ceremony.South Delhi people love to go with modern way and make use of every latest facilities available in the market.Thus I would like to conclude that South Delhi people spend large amount of money on every occasions as compared to th prople of East Delhi.
