Leading U.K. Facilities Management OCS Group Acquires Singapore's Don Thaker Group; To Add 1,000 Jobs in Singapore In Next Three Years
OCS to leverage strong Gatwick/Heathrow operations to make Singapore its new regional aviation hub Group has set aside 40 million British pounds for regional expansion in South and Southeast Asia
SINGAPORE, 22 February 2012 - The OCS Group, the United Kingdom's largest privately owned facilities management company with 60,000 staff worldwide and revenues of over 700 million British pounds, aims to create 1,000 new jobs in Singapore over the next three years after acquiring home grown outsourced cleaning specialist, Don Thaker Group ("DTG"), OCS' global group Chief Executive Officer Mr Chris Cracknell said today. London-based OCS will leverage on its strong aviation capabilities (it currently cleans nearly 75% of all aircraft landing at Heathrow Airport) and on DTG's existing aircraft cleaning services to use Changi Airport as its new regional hub for a range of aviation-related cleaning and maintenance services. Mr Cracknell announced the acquisition of DTG, the expansion plans for Singapore, OCSs strategic vision for the region, mergers and acquisition plans of up to 40 million British pounds at a function witnessed by the British Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore, Ms. Judith Slater.

OCS intends to double international contributions to total Group revenue by 2015 from 28% currently, and our Singapore-based operations will serve as a critical pillar of this global expansion effort following the acquisition of DTG, Mr Cracknell said. Founded in Singapore in1992 by Mr SH Thaker, DTG has specialised in aircraft cabin cleaning and related services for over 20 years, and counts airport services management companies such as Singapore Airport Terminal Services Ltd and Asia Pacific Star among its major clients. It has a workforce of nearly 1,000 full-time staff in Singapore. DTG will be re-named and re-branded by the end of 2012 and will offer a wider range of Total Facilities Management (TFM) services under the OCS umbrella. TFM is the integration and alignment of non -core services, including those relating to property, required to operate and maintain a business to fully support the core objectives of an organization. OCS handles global clients' non-core activities such as catering, cleaning, security, pest control and washroom services. "Singapore has sound infrastructure and is an established business and aviation hub, with many regional and global MNCs headquartered here. We will use Singapore to position ourselves as principal TFM contractor for local, regional and global clients, targeting in particular the aviation, healthcare, education, pharmaceutical and IT manufacturing sectors," Mr Cracknell added. "I am honoured that OCS has invited DTG to be part of their global network. This partnership will raise our capabilities, range of services and geographical reach. Indeed, many of DTGs existing customers are keen that we provide them with both soft and h ard services such as security, catering, mechanical and engineering expertise , said Mr Thaker, DTGs Managing Director. More importantly, this partnership adds jobs to Singapore and will allow our workers to improve their skill sets and help re-shape this fast-growing sector which has great potential in the Asia-Pacific region, he added. Mr Cracknell also disclosed that apart from the acquisition of DTG, OCS has set aside 40 million British pounds for mergers and acquisitions in the Asia region to complete its range of services and to position itself as principal contract for local, regional and global clients. The Group currently has 27,000 employees in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Bangladesh, India, China and Singapore, out of its total global workforce of 60,000. Within three years we intend to more than double our business and our workforce in this region by growing within geographies where we are already present and

entering new markets such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar and India. By 2015, the Asian business will account for over half of our global revenue, Mr Cracknell said. Non-U.K. operations account for about 28% of OCS global revenue contributions, with just under half of the latter coming from South East Asia.
