TheRASCwillbeawardingtwo$3000scholarshipstoundergraduateandtwo$3000graduate
Studentsforatotalof4.Theminimumcriteriaforthescholarshipsare:
UndergraduateorgraduatestudentwhowillbeenrolledinFall2012atapublicorprivate
Undergraduate or graduate student who will be enrolled in Fall 2012 at a public or private
highereducationinstitutioninSouthernCalifornia(definedasLosAngeles,Riverside,San
Bernardino,Orange,VenturaorSanDiegocounties)inadegreeprogramwhichcouldlead
toacareerintherailtransportationindustry.
MinimumGPAof3.0.
Interestedinaprofessionintherailtransportationindustrysuchasengineering,planning,
p
oroperations.
Thescholarshipsarecompetitiveandbasedontheapplicant'sspecificinvolvementin
transportation,careergoals,andacademicrecord.
NotethatfamilyofRASCboardandscholarshipreviewcommitteemembersarenot
eligibleforaward.
