The product will be packed in 7*5 plastic bags at 30 grams per pack. Each pack will be sealed using an electric sealer. b. Production Process 1. Peeling. This step involves the removal of the Dansalan s outer covering with a peeler and also washing the peeled crops with clean, plain water. 2. Slicing. This is the cutting of the peeled Dansalans into thin pieces using a slicer. 3. Preparation of syrup. Sugar and water in fixed amounts are mixed to form syrup where the strips of the sliced Dansalan are to be soaked for one minute. 4. Frying. This step involves deep-frying the Dansalan strips until golden brown. 5. Cooling. The newly cooked chips are placed in a cheesecloth-covered basin. 6. Flavor application. For cheese-flavored chips, cheese powder is sprinkled to the cooled cooked chips. 7. Packaging. The finished products are packed and sealed in plastic containers and sealed.
