Dear colleagues, since you must be looking forward to the upcoming long weekends and holiday season, here is a small message for you. Try spending quality time with your loved ones What is quality time? Well different people might have different opinions regarding the matter. We live life on a time space continuum, how we live our life and how we spend our time depends on who we are and how we want to live our life. Many of us take for granted a day, an hour, a minute or even a second. It might seem hard to count for every second we live but don't we take time for granted? This brings us to the topic "spending quality time", how would you like to spend your time? Most would like to just relax and have a nice time, to have fun and just spend time in an enjoyable way. Since most of us spend majority of our time in the office throughout the weekdays, we hardly have time left for the family and friends. Weekends and especially long weekends are a good time to make up for that. In winters you can start with a nice family breakfast out in the sun. If you have a lawn in your house, fantastic; but if not, no problem, the roof would also do or just step out and find a green area where

you could sit on the grass with the family and enjoy your breakfast and the sun together. If you have walking tracks nearby, it would be a good idea to take the family for a short walk. Spending time with the family on weekends gives everyone a chance to talk about things that they have been wanting to. It is a good time to show them that you are there for them. Remember that on weekdays they do so much for you so weekends are a good time to do something for them. You could make a plan together over breakfast on how to spend rest of the holidays. Some tips are as below; Family gatherings: Think of arranging something at your place for the wider family or if there is a festivity coming up, plan on participating. Social visits: Visit friends and relatives that you have not seen for some time. Giving time to elders: If you have your parents and or other elderly family members with you or close by, do include them in your plans. They deserve your attention! Visiting patients: If someone you know is unwell, pay them a visit and dont forget to take some flowers with you. Traveling to a holiday destination: It would be a good idea to plan a trip to a holiday destination. You could plan it yourself or consult private entities which offer holiday plans. You may be surprised to know that there are several companies that offer all sorts of travel plans for families and groups. The most important thing to remember is, try not to take for
