Sub:- STAGING OF 55TH NATIONAL SHOOTING CHAMPIONSHIP COMPETITIONS IN BIG BORE RIFLE EVENTS AT KADARPUR, HARYANA FROM 26th to 31st March 2012 Dear Sir/Madam, It has been decided to hold 55th National Shooting Championship Competitions (NSCC) in Big Bore Rifle events at Kadarpur, Distt Gurgaon from 26th to 31st March 2012 as detailed in program attached at Appendix A. This will be conducted under the supervision of CRPF, Kadarpur. Those competitors who want to participate in these competitions are requested to go through the following instructions carefully for their own convenience and to ensure smooth and successful conduct of the above competitions. 1) MATCHES :All the matches will be conducted according to NRAI Match Book 2011. The Match Book is also available on our website www.thenrai.in. 2) ENTRY FORM/ FEE :a) Entry Forms are sent herewith for your use. More can be sent on request. These Entry Forms duly completed along with Entry Fee and one photograph of Competitors should be sent to this Office so as to reach this office on or before 15th March 2012. Name of the competitor should be written on backside of the photograph. The Entry Fee should be remitted by Cash/ Money Order or by Bank Draft in favor of NATIONAL RIFLE ASSOCIATION OF INDIA. Kindly note that cheques will not be accepted. Late entries, if any, will be accepted with a three times of the normal fee as per rule 6.3 of the NRAI Match Book up to 21st March 2012. The competitors cards duly completed will be delivered at NRAIs camp office at Kadarpur.

PARTICIPATION :a) Participation is open to competitors to State Rifle Associations/ Units affiliated to NRAI. In case where no State Rifle Association exists, competitors belonging to clubs directly affiliated to NRAI will be allowed to participate. NRAI members must take part though State Rifle Associations/ Units of their native place otherwise their entry will not be accepted. All the State Rifle Associations/ Units will allow the members of NRAI to participate without becoming

members of that State/ Club to which he/ she belongs. However, if there is no such Association / Club functioning in their State, they can take part as members of NRAI provided they have paid all their dues towards NRAI. b) Only one Team from each State/ Unit will be allowed in each event irrespective of the number of participants. As per the Governing Body decision, shooters participating on wild card can also be member of team. Team events will be conducted only if there are a minimum of 4 or more teams in each event. In case there are less than 4 teams, team events will be cancelled and no medal will be awarded in team event. All affiliated State Rifle Associations/ Units must send Team Entry Fee for matches in which they intend to field a team along with the Entry Form under Rule 6.1. Final Entry (by name) under rule 18.7 of NRAI Match Book must be submitted latest by 17.00 hrs. on the previous day of the start of that particular match. Shooters qualified, as per NRAI Match Book rule 17.6 are eligible to participate in this NSCC. Shooters furnishing incorrect information shall be debarred from taking part in any championship for two years. IT IS MANDATORY FOR ALL SHOOTERS TO GET THEMSELVES REGISTERED WITH NRAI AND OBTAIN SHOOTER ID CARD (IF NOT DONE EARLIER). SHOOTERS WITHOUT SHOOTER ID CARD WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE. APPLICATION FORM IS AVAILABLE ON OUR WEBSITE www.thenrai.in THE REGISTRATION FEE IS RS. 150/- PLEASE SEND YOUR REGISTRATION FORM THROUGH YOUR STATE RIFLE ASSOCIATION/UNIT BEFORE SENDING ENTRY. All affiliated Associations/ Clubs/ Units forwarding the Entry Forms of their members are requested to see that their Affiliation Fee is paid up to date. Their Entry Forms will be entertained only after their arrears if any are cleared. In extra ordinary circumstances the Organizing Secretary may grant permission for use of a common weapon. The names of shooters likely to use common weapon should be advised together with the weapon number to the Organizing Secretary in advance to enable him to work out details for conduct of relevant matches.

RAIL TRAVEL CONCESSION :Rail Travel concession vouchers can be obtained from NRAIs office.

ACCOMMODATION :All participants are required to make their own arrangements. Good hotel accommodation is available in Gurgaon. Participants may arrange the same directly.

GENERAL :All participants are requested to go through the above instructions carefully and ensure strict compliance. All participants are expected to abide by the rules and regulations for the NSCC. Discipline on and off the field is very essential. Shooting practice in hotels is strictly prohibited. Change in matches is not allowed once the entry is submitted. In case of non-participation by the competitors after submission of their entries will not be allowed any refund of the Entry Fee. The Organizers will have the right to close any match or event in case of any emergency or otherwise without assigning any reason for such an action on their part. Shooting Kit (Clothing & Equipment) of the competitors during the competitions will be strictly according to ISSF standard for ISSF matches.
