May 2011 August 2011 Independent study under the advisement of Georgia Tech professor Ronald Arkin. Researched and developed an application of a modeling framework based on port automata for verification and validation. Started the ground work that would be used on a multi-year funded project.

August 2009 May 2010 Worked with team to build a low-cost, off-the-shelf UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) integrated with a smart phone for reconnaissance and informational warfare. Designed mobile application to handle autonomous flight, live waypoint navigation, target image capture, and relaying geo-tagged images and flight information to a ground station. Further final project capabilities target tagging and visual classification of ground objects. Project was presented at the AUVSI Technology Expo. January 2009 May 2009 Worked with graduate student Zarrin Chua, supervised by Dr. Karen Feigh, on a human-in-the-loop experiment to determine human and robotic performance on a lunar landing task. Designed software to emulate the controls for a lunar lander and record user actions.
