OBJECTIVE Telecommunication or Networking Engineer EDUCATION Masters of Science in Networking and Telecommunication Engineering at University of Pittsburgh (GPA- 3.62). Graduation date: December 2009. Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Telecommunications) from University of Pristina (GPA- 3.7), Kosovo. WORK EXPERIENCE (January 2010 Now) Network Engineer at 3CIS (web: http://3cis.net): Scripting engineer helped in creating scripts for autoprivisioning Tellabs 8860 MSN at AT&T NY (Rochelle Park, Piscataway, Up State New York, New England, Manhattan market). Senior Design Engineer low level design for 8660 Tellabs MSN and 8605 SIADs in Vodafone UK market. Testing and troubleshooting on live network and testbed at Vodafone UK campus PTH lab. Consulting Architect implementing Content Optimization Solution for Tunisiana AIG. Included testing and interconnecting Junipers MX960 with VXA (MFCs) and Openwave complex which together worked as intercepting proxy at Gi interface and helped in optimizing web and video content for reducing bandwidth demand in backhaul and RAN network.

(January 2010 July 2010 and January 2011 July 2011) Teaching Assistant at Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering taught courses on Computer Networking together with hand-on experience on Cisco 2612 and Catalyst equipment. We offered bottom-up approach from physical to application of OSI stack. Included producing curricula for graduate students and assisting them in delivering their results and tests via web platform (http://ecuponline.eu). (March 2007 August 2008) EPG Programmer at GMDS PR (web: http://gmds.eu): Gathering information from many different sources (i.e. web, satellite and TV) with parsing techniques using C# and VB and putting it on backend database which then can be used for EPG (Electronic Programs Guide).

(January 2008 July 2008) IT Technician at FECE - Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering (web: http://fiek.uni-pr.edu): Creating and administering an Active Directory, troubleshooting network of 300 PCs, installing the equipment and supervising a teleconferencing room. ACADEMIC PROJECTS Implementing a simple Web Server using C# API : This project involved creating Web server using C# API which included writing the code for opening the socket listening to it and HTTP protocol exchange messages. It supported viewing many type of files such as txt, jpg, rich text etc. Implementing DV (Distance Vector) routing protocol : This project involved creating the code for exchanging routing information between 4 nodes and making them know each other routing paths based on Bellman-Ford algorithm. Implementing a peer-to-peer multicast chatting application: This project involved creating a peer application which acted as a client and a server at the same time used for chatting. The user could join itself to multicast group and leave it. At the same time the user was able to see which other clients are on that group. The project used IGMPv3 protocol and it used multithread programming. Implementing an RTP video server and client: This project involved creating an RTP server which was used to grab frames and packetize them into RTP packets and send them to client whenever this was requested. It used Java API for UDP sockets. Comparing TCP Jitter of UDP flows on wired and wireless network : This project involved establishing a network between wireless access points (in wireless case) and between switches (in wired case). As UDP client was used Skype software. The objective of the project is to provide comparison between jitters in wireless and wired medium and conclude the amount of buffers at APs needed to provide certain wired-equivalent voice quality. Can a rogue AP comprise a client implementing WPA2?: This project involved setting up a network of WPA2-enabled AP and some PC clients. We were able to conclude that it is possible to mount a rogue AP (in our case was one of the clients) and compromise the clients that were implementing WPA2, launching attacks such as: disassociating etc. SKILL SET Protocols: Traffic Generation Tools: Network Packages: In-depth knowledge of network layer protocols like: RIP, OSPF, OSPFv3, BGP Linux-based Wireshark, Ethereal, tcpdump
